GLOBAL-FINALITY-STANDARD · v1.0.0

Global Finality Standard

Building an implementable public contract for post-action truth, finality, and evidence-qualified economic certainty across agentic and real-world consequential actions.

Specification change process

Normative change is attributable, reviewable, and versioned.

Proposals use durable GFS-RFC identifiers and move through explicit lifecycle states. Discussion, popularity, or a product commit does not make a proposal normative.

NORMATIVEUses the documented RFC/review path appropriate to its normative impact.
BREAKINGRequires a new major GFS version and migration/compatibility evidence.
SECURITY_EMERGENCYMay use a narrow fail-closed accelerated path with retrospective RFC.

Normative truth boundary

Cryptographic verification is not the same as truth.

The Global Finality Standard is a public-safe contract specification. Conformance to a schema or profile is an internal, self-declared statement unless independently assessed. Nothing in this standard implies certification, partnership, endorsement, live integration, buyer acceptance, regulatory approval, or production deployment by any referenced protocol, network, vendor, or standards body.
