GLOBAL-FINALITY-STANDARD · v1.0.0
Global Finality Standard
Building an implementable public contract for post-action truth, finality, and evidence-qualified economic certainty across agentic and real-world consequential actions.
Cryptographic portability
Use mature cryptographic standards around the Finality Kernel.
GFS does not invent a new signature scheme. The public SDK includes a working ES256 JOSE reference path for the VC representation and a SCITT registration contract boundary. Production key custody belongs in managed KMS/HSM infrastructure.
- GFS
- GFS supplies the post-action truth predicates that decide whether a Finality Passport is eligible to exist.
- W3C VC 2.0 · IMPLEMENTED_REFERENCE
- W3C VC 2.0 supplies a portable credential data model.
- JOSE ES256 · IMPLEMENTED_REFERENCE
- JOSE supplies cryptographic integrity/authenticity for the encoded credential when a deployment supplies managed signing keys.
- COSE · CONTRACT_ONLY
- W3C VC COSE compatibility is a deployment adapter boundary; this package does not claim a COSE implementation.
- Data Integrity · CONTRACT_ONLY
- W3C Verifiable Credential Data Integrity cryptosuites are an interoperability boundary; this package does not claim an implemented cryptosuite.
- SCITT · CONTRACT_ONLY_WITH_CAPTURE
- SCITT supplies transparent registration and independently verifiable receipts when an external Transparency Service is actually used.
Normative truth boundary
Cryptographic verification is not the same as truth.
The Global Finality Standard is a public-safe contract specification. Conformance to a schema or profile is an internal, self-declared statement unless independently assessed. Nothing in this standard implies certification, partnership, endorsement, live integration, buyer acceptance, regulatory approval, or production deployment by any referenced protocol, network, vendor, or standards body.
