GFS is governed separately from Finality Group product implementation so outside implementers can rely on versioned public contracts without receiving protected engine internals.

The Global Finality Standard is a public-safe contract specification. Conformance to a schema or profile is an internal, self-declared statement unless independently assessed. Nothing in this standard implies certification, partnership, endorsement, live integration, buyer acceptance, regulatory approval, or production deployment by any referenced protocol, network, vendor, or standards body.
